Global Self-Destruction

by Daniel Beadle - Thursday, September 6, 2007

“Oh please. You act as though my actions are evil or malevolent. This world will end. It’s just a question of when. I am merely expediting that process.

“Have you ever pondered the existence of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe? After all, the universe is vast enough to make that possibility incredibly probably. But humans will never learn of their existence. Humans will never make contact with such beings. Why? Because with the evolution of any civilization, the path leads invariable to destruction rather than progress.

"All intelligent life, be it here on earth, or in some distant galaxy, has the predilection for self-destruction.”
