Another lightning bolt crackles across the sky. The rain pours even harder. Jake’s face is filled with rage. He is soaked; his black hair is plastered to his forehead, and his black clothes are dripping. His wounds are washed clean.Jake raises the gun. Water drips from the barrel. His battered enemy lies against the brick alley wall.
“This ends now,” Jake says through his gritted teeth.
